Being at home, soft lighting, nice temperature... wait, maybe these are about comfort.
Not being around strangers, either in large crowds, or groups or lone male figures in the dark. (I get the sense that those guys know they can be seen as potential threat, so they often steer clear, giving a wide berth, don't make eye contact, etc., which I appreciate.)
I was at a nightclub music venue once, when a fist fight broke out between two men, right in front of me. It was bad. One of them was knocked to the ground, blood splattered. I think he might have had his nose broken. No idea who started it or why. We got shoved out of the way. I instinctively got behind one of the two males I was with. He was a business associate turned friend, and although he was not a tough guy necessarily, he was tall and made a wall. He didn't exactly run, but moved back, and stayed facing forward. Maybe that's all there was time to do, or maybe he was tougher than he appeared. I'm still not sure. It all happened so fast. Now that I think of it, this is the one time I cared about having a tall man around. There are always going to be some idiot males who fight and act out. That scene involved loud music (I think it was The Killers?), dim lights, booze, and crowds. So yeah, I'll go with... I feel safe when I'm able to avoid those situations. Although I've also gone willingly and happily into them a whole bunch of times. I like all that stuff, minus the crowds. But they are somewhat of a risk.
I always feel safe I know how to defend myself with or without a weapon plus if someone did kidnap me my brother and my 5 best friends all served in the special forces so I wouldn't to worried plus I have money
