There’s a smell of what is probably a cleaning agent that I’ll smell every once in a blue moon that reminds me of what it smelled like inside my elementary school. Also, the smell of a new textbook takes me back too, probably since I spent so much time face-down in them, sleeping through class lmao. The smell of cut grass on the football field in August reminds me of the beginning of my Pop Warner seasons, and I guess high school ball as well. It was weird when I started playing again as an adult and I started seeing more and more of these artificial grass fields being installed at stadiums we played at, that grass smell is conspicuously absent. Oh, and I wouldn’t say it takes me back, since I can’t smell it anymore, but I SWEAR I can still remember how the “Moss Man” He-Man character was scented. I practically used to huff that thing lmfao.
I remember when I was a little kid and in school I use to remember in the ground floor there was always the smell of rotten eggs coming from there. I am quite sure that was coming from a lab and was Hydrogen Sulphide.
Back then I didn't know that a chemical smelled like that.
When I was just starting my period my step-dad had enough of me feeling leaving my knickers around so one night he went into my bin and removed an old pad and pulled my bottoms down and wiped the pad all over my genitals before removing my tampon and sticking it up my nose. For the next week all i could smell was blood and wet paper.
The smell of Bounty laundry detergent. I used to run errands with my dad and we would usually go to the Landry, and It always had a nice sweet smell and it would always be warm in there, especially in the winter.
Play Doh! I have no idea what Play Doh is supposed to smell like, but it's an unforgettable smell! Kinda chemical-y and kinda delicious smelling! Searching on the internet, it says it's a "musky, vanilla-like fragrance, with slight overtones of cherry."
In the summer playing in the back yard and behind that was the school grounds. If i wasn't in the back yard i was at rhe school ground and i could smell my mom's cooking from both lol
Cow manure is one, I grew up in a house in the country and the farmer used to fertilize his field directly behind our house with cow manure. Another is fresh baked bread and homemade pizza.
