Minecraft: Why won't the Llamas Reproduce?

Ok so covid has driven mr to boredom and I got readdicted to minecraft as all the businesses near me are small businesses and shut down, so I can't really do anything around town...

I started playing minecraft and my stupid llamas won't mate. I was clearing a chunk of land with TNT and accidentally blew up a wandering trade (oops!) So I took his llamas lol. Made the bales of hay, and they won't eat it. Tried googling it but nothing seems to work.

Any solutions?
