That makes sense. 😌

Yeah, why don’t they just use religion like everyone else?
@zeitgeist057 Not really.
“... excuse to avoid responsibility... a way to force people to just accept there world view without ever having to defend it on an intellectual level. Its intellectually lazy and manipulative...”Very similar, actually. Not that either this person or religious people do it knowingly. They all actually think they are totally right and justified.
@zeitgeist057 Go troll some one else, this topic has nothing to do with religion.
True, the original post is demonstrating close mindedness and self righteousness. So it's more of a parallel topic. But I absolutely understand the inability of someone who is presumably within the illusion to be able to recognize it for what it is. I'm not trolling you, I'm just pointing out the similarities here that most people can see for themselves, thoughts that were inspired by your wording. I am agreeing with what you said and expounding upon it, to show that the mindset and tendency is broader in humanity than just this single Karen. That's fine that you disagree, I have no problem with that, you are welcome to your reality. :)
@zeitgeist057 Stop trolling, I'm not religious, your just trying to start shit and its pathetic. If I wanted talks about religion from a edgy uninformed ignorant militant atheist I'd talk the a sixteen year old. I don't, so again, stop trolling.
I think you're confused here about what trolling is and isn't. I'm politely and respectfully making a point about the similarities of religious people and this post. I've said things like ".. fine if you disagree, I have no problem with that.." and ".. I am agreeing with what you said...". If either of us is "trying to start shit" and acting like a sixteen year old, it's the one who is responding to polite discourse with name calling: "troll", "pathetic... uninformed... ignorant...". But I don't expect to get anywhere calling you names in return, or even showing you a mirror. You've obviously got your mind firmly sewed up, and all attempts to engage you politely are met with abuse and accusations. I hope you at least enjoy the reality you've created for yourself, though I can't see how it would be much fun.
@zeitgeist057 Your making a "point" that is completely unrelated to the question asked and the answer given. Your doing it in order to start a fight because again, you want to show how edgy you are for hating religion (because apparently you haven't gotten out of your sixteen year old phase of hating everything that others don't). Your starting a religious fight with some one who is not interested in having it but still trying to force it on me. How is any of that not trolling? Trolling: "make a deliberately offensive or provocative online post with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them."
I would disagree. I have experienced/witnessed oppression and hatred towards blacks, for example, and I am not black. Also towards many other groups. How do you find it impossible to understand something unless you are that thing? We understand how fish breathe underwater, yet we are not fish. Racism and oppression and all these other words are exactly that: words. With definitions. That you can look up and understand. Then you can go out in the world and recognize them based on the definitions. You can say, (with some certainty), “I’m pretty sure that’s a fish, even though I myself am not a fish.”
Thats true, and i didn't mean to imply that this is not possible to witness it.But usually when people argue about racism, the usually go something like this. "I never experienced systematic racism it and how can there be something like this if a black guy made it to president."
Ah I see your point, and I hate to say it but that quote actually made me laugh that someone would say that and believe it. It’s everywhere, but I think people have a hard time accepting because they feel like if they do, they are somehow incriminating themselves as bad people. So they keep justifying the situation and trying to find rationale.
What are your thoughts @JoyGirl?
Do you like food?I like food. We all like food. 😌
Good answer 😂😂
They want a solution.You are quite mistaken. :)
Fight hate with hate or completely stupid things that can't happen for a fight you mean, and that is before they attack people, property or businesses like that you mean.
So basically when you say it's not racest I say shut up and learn what it means first.
"worse"? like a woman, for example? XD (totally joking, just thought the wording was funny)
@zeitgeist057 it was meant to be and muslims was supposed to be implied. It was also a joke with deliberate homophobic and racist bad taste.
And then i guess you also agreed with my comment here.
@Aiko_E_Lara She is 13, back off. 🙄
I was just saying and if you have a problem with that then you should chill.
@Aiko_E_Lara W/e, dude... lol
Makes you (insert loser here)It's not my fault this site is not 18+
Exactly as you read it... lol
Why? She has a good point?
@Leah1273 No she doesn't. She's attempting to implement the 'appeal to authority' logical fallacy.
Well It depends if it’s actually homophobia or if it just offends that person not their religion or sexuality or
@Leah1273 No, that's not how society works. We don't have a free exchange of ideas if people are told to "shut up".
However it’s offence to the way people are born. Like if your born gay sand someone says an offensive comment surely it’s better for the offensiver to learn that their creating hurt. Or racism on the colour of someone’s skin, etc
@Leah1273 That's not what the original post is stating. It's stating that if you don't have one of the 'affected' attributes you should "shut up".
Ah I see you see it differently, I thought it meant if your racist you should stop and learn etc
@Leah1273 Racism is subjective, no?
