What are you hoping for in 2021?

I'm hoping for lots of things. That 2021 is nothing like 2020. That this whole 'coronavirus' nonsense just fades away. That K. Harris doesn't take over from Biden, because she's a psychopath who will doom us all. That people just stop talking about Trump all the bloody time. That the CCP is overthrown in China, and another world war is thus avoided. That Hollywood actors and actresses stop preaching to us as though we need to be lectured to by them, a bunch of entitled nobodies. That someone finds a way to reach the nearer stars in a reasonable length of time without violating any of the laws of physics, so that those of us who want to can leave this godforsaken rock behind (Proxima B looks promising at the moment).

i get accepted into my dream school and get to go (if corona is still a threat im not going because its not worth paying out of state for online classes). im also hoping to do some fun stuff with my friends this summer like going camping, which will be hard to convince my parents of. lastly, i have some cool raspberry pi projects in mind and i hope i complete them this year!

Personally I would like to stay healthy, to find a job and to start working on everything I need to be able to leave the country where I live in 2022.
Also, I would love to hear that the pandemic is over but I don't think it's going to happen.
