Seems staged. What letter carrier would give mail to a dog without knowing for sure that the dog is owned by the recipient of the mail? Plus a dog might eat it

I'm a cat person, thougu I love dogs, too, but I've never even began to try and argue cats are more intelligent. I doubt on average they are, and I doubt on average they're more loyal. I'm sure there are some cases, but I'd imagine they're rare.

I mean since it's *that* important to you I can give you loyalty, dogs are a bit more loyal than cats. But that doesn't mean cats aren't loyal at all, and I have proof of that, end of discussion, period.

And as for intelligence; opening doors, mimicking behavior, learning to interpret body language and tone of voice, solving problems by adjusting strategy, cats can do all this and more. They are very intelligent creatures.

I prefer dogs way more. Cats are a-holes. Cats are also for the lazy people. All you need to do is give it food and change the litter. There's no training, not much care. Poor cat has to stay indoors. And fools let their cats outside to wander.. 😑

I won't argue with the loyal part but i doubt the intelligence. I am sure you have watched the cat dog obstacle challenge where the cat wins every time.

I prefer cats. They are easy to take care of and they aren’t as easily excitable as a lot of dogs are regardless of how strong the bond is.

There's heavy critique against this thesis however, given that neurons alone cannot determine intelligence as we can observe very intelligent cats and dimwitted dogs.

@AlexanderAnttila true humans have 15 billion cortical nuerons and i've questioned some peoples intelligence to be less than a dogs. Lol

Well yes, I mean take humans with severe mental disabilities for example, they have the same level of neurons and to my knowledge they are unaffected. But they still have intelligence closer to that of some animals.
