How does this work?

Question

A below average female posts a picture on here, asking how she looks, she gets loads of responses usually all positive telling her she’s gorgeous

I saw a man post a photo doing the same thing and got one response that he’s below average.

Why are women coddled and complimented when they’re below average but not men?

I see this very often on here and it puzzles me every time. Discuss?

I have noticed the same thing. I think it's a combination of two factors. First is that both genders feel more sympathy and compassion for women than for men. Second is that contrary to popular belief, male attractiveness is judged more harshly than female attractiveness. Another way to put it is that the % of men that women find ugly is greater than the % of women than men find ugly.

Men in general have lower standards than women in general with who they want f*ck. they don't actually think she's gorgeous they're hoping by telling her that she'll pay attention to them
