Why Do you follow?

I follow for three reasons :

1. I agree with what someone said and when I look to see their other comments I continue to relate to or admire their opinions I follow.

2. I follow if someone follows me and I don’t find anything problematic in their posts. And username.

3. Someone messages me, we talk and I feel Can be of help and or I find it interesting to speak with them.

1 & 2 - I don't follow people I like cause I like and dislike a lot of people - I follow the ones who ask me to follow them or the ones I have questions for that block people they don't connect with on this site from asking them questions and on rare occasions I will follow somebody if they singled me out multiple times in a positive way or if they interest me and I've followed people that other people told me to follow.

3 - My top five following favourites are (and I won't mention names)
- the ones who have the most sympathy and compassion for others
- the ones who ask me the most intelligent questions
- the ones who are honest without being misinformed or rude or selfish or disrespectful
- the ones who pay the most attention to me
- the ones who display the highest level of intelligence

I don't really follow much but I mainly follow somebody if they have helped me out in a situation or they seem interesting and are friendly. To be honest the times I do follow are more of a spur of the moment type incidences rather than something that I think about for a long time as its normally a thing I do straight away or don't do at all. I have only ever rarely followed people but again its more of a spur of a moment thing for me.

2 - I think they put a lot of effort into their activity on GAG and this shows in their on point and very descriptive opinions and takes. As I quite enjoy reading their content, a follow was a must once I found their content.

i'm follow for follow, like for like. my faves have all left and are in hiding leaving me in torment without any true friends here

2. They said something kind or thoughtful to me
3. I thought they seemed kind of likable and cool
