- I tried fitting in with the people who studied my major, but I didn’t felt like a real man. They are too sensitive and their sense of humor is totally cringe, so no I don’t strive to fit in. As a lot of people love me for who I am. Too hyper, energetic, charismatic and suave.
Now to strive to stand out. I wouldn’t and that’s because last time I stood out. Some unknown Latina that I never knew about, got so obsessed with me and she had her made her life work to spread false rumors about me. Sometimes I ask myself if she is obsessed with me because she met someone that looked like me and hurt her feelings and let’s not forget she a radical feminist. So yeah trying to strive to stand out will bring too many crazies to my life.1|00|0Is this still revelant? - Tbh, neither. I strive to not care about humanity or what they think. I strive to be robotic and indifferent.2|00|0Is this still revelant?
That's stupid. The first sentence I agree with but the rest makes you just sound like a hurt person. And it something I would have said at 21. I tried it. It's unsustainable. There is a much easier way to do it.
@William2198 - Interesting 🤔 I have the view that everyone is a hurt person. And that the people who say they aren't are just lying to themselves. Now, our definitions of a "hurt person" could be off, so let me know if they are. Here's the one I go by:
"Someone who has been harmed, injured, or killed as the result of a perceived crime."
Setting ages and maturity levels aside and focusing on the reasoning behind it:
Though it does play a part, I don't want to be this way only because I've been hurt. I want to be that way because I look around me and see others severely hurting or put into a disadvantaged position trying to do those very things. All that to either stand out or fit in. They want validation from people so much that it causes them more suffering than necessary to feel fulfilled in life.
I'm not totally against a person wanting validation. Some validation can really help people progress for the better. And it could make them feel the feeling of fulfillment just as my wish would for me. I would simply like to just not worry about either. And it goes along with my personality too!
For instance, if someone tells me I look [Insert an insult that goes along with the topic of fitting in and standing out], I would want to be robotic and indifferent about it. basically, acknowledge what they said but don't have any strong emotions tied to it. And then keep on processing the world in ways I have been programmed to like to. I wouldn't want to pay any attention to them unless they were a severe threat that could harm my existence.I make it work well enough. But ima sociopath so prob not the best judge of emotional character.

Don’t envy me. I can see myself bring the great reckoning and with a smile killing off most of humanity for the horrors their responsible for. It’s not a happy thing to be hyper sensitive to others emotions to the point you just don’t feel your own anymore.
I work in a plant away from others. At this point I could die there and be happy -.-
Humanity’s just not... worth it. The few million good people do not make up for the number of certifiably stupid people in the world today... stupidit should be a crime punishable by death... take off warning labels and we wouldn’t have gorilla glue girl and catch me out side girl.I grew up super poor, everything o owned came from goodwill. Kids were so cruel, I just got to a point where o said to myself “You cannot afford brand names or tons of clothes but you do have your individualism, let it fly” and I have...
Were you loved? Complimented on your accomplishments? We’re you embarrassed to go to Walmart in a car that screamed when you pulled up?
Spent my childhood embarrassed about being scruffy looking and poor... got used to it and now being an adult I finally learned a real value of a dollar. I take better care of myself and my car don’t screech and my cloths arnt baggy.
I’m still poor. Not financially I make good money... no I lack the people skills I never learned because I was so embarrassed of my then situation. And now I see people and I think... why would I want to know these scumbags.Congrats to you both ! Totally figured it out with the mathematics and never knew you were just a number.
Let me add a few. Never forget from where we came from. This world has made us strong and mindful of other people. In our hearts we know " I am good " remember it's the same thing just somewhere else.
Thank you for your memories " They were mine too " and god bless if there is such a thang?

- Neither. I’m just being who I am and doing what makes ME happy. I’m starting to learn to just not care what others think of me because at the end of the day you’ll never make everyone happy, there will always be people who are upset or annoyed by something you do or don’t do.
I’m just being me and that’s all I ever want to be.1|00|0Is this still revelant? - Interesting photo you chose.
I fit in very easily. I'm more proud of when I stand out. Which is often a choice, or something I'm aware of but not hiding/stopping something from coming out organically.
Conformity is, by comparison, bland; though it does help with social cohesion and a more harmonious-running society.1|00|0Is this still revelant?

4158- I don't strife for anything. I don't conform to other people's thoughts or ways so they like me and neither do I do the very opposite of another person for the sake of standing out. If we are aligned with our thoughts and actions, cool. If we aren't, I couldn't care less. I strife for seeking and always seeking the truth and be the ambassador of the truth. And ironically, this often makes me stand out without my intention.1|00|0
- Great question... wow. Two years ago I would have said "fit in" . But thank the God of Abraham and His Son Christ, I aspire to "stand out" from the world. If a person loves the world, or are lovers of self, that person sadly cannot enter the Kingdom God.
We are asked to "come out of her My people, that you be not partakers of her plagues"1|00|0What do you mean "stand out from the world." What do you do that's different than most people?
@Kas19 What I said was "I aspire to stand out from the world" ... Not a single thing... But I am seeking the Lord Christ with a sincere heart and a contrite heart for the first time in my life (even though I claimed to be a follower of the God of the bible for 30 years, when in fact I had no idea Who Christ was... And most important I did not know the character of the Father or His Son..
99.9% of the christian religions of the world DO NOT teach the commands and doctrines of the Christ in scripture... No they are sun worshipers daughters of the whore.. THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH... is their mother... see (Revelation 13 and 17)- Show All Show Less
@Kas19 I hope to bring more people to the God of Abraham through His Son Christ... In the United States the people (myself included) have been dumbed down. I don't mean that sarcastically, no but literally. If you would like to find out just how "they" accomplished this horrific act may I suggest reading the book... "THE DELIBERTE DUMBING DOWN OF AMERICA" by: Charlotte Thompson Iserbyt (free pdf)
My point is that no one reads anymore, we have grown accustomed to letting other persons tell us what is, or is not. Take for instance the concept of the place called "hell". The Roman catholic church teaches that this is the place where people that do not love God or follow His commandments will be sent for punishment.. eternal punishment!
This is NOT true and it makes people turn away from a loving creator (this doctrine single-handedly made most of the world become atheists... in my opinion) and here is two proofs why that "hell" does not exist:
(1) The new testament was written in Greek and the Greek meaning of the word "hell" is the GRAVE, which Christ defeated when He rose on the third day.
(2) In the kjv bible book of Genesis...
(Genesis 2; 16-17) And the LORD commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat (17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of, for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shall surely DIE.
Did God say that Adam would be sent to a place of torture for eternity? No of course He didn't, that kind of place would make God and His Son tyrants and evil, which They are not.. God is long suffering, He delights in forgiveness, He is abundant in mercies and is FULL OF GRACE..
Forgive me Kas19 if you feel like I am preaching to you or it sounds as if I am better than you (that is not my intention, I am just a poor writer)... I am not better than anyone, I just want to pass on information to you or anybody about the God of Abraham
- Anonymous11 dNeither. I'm just me. Trying to fit in or trying to stand out just means you're not being true to yourself because you're too busy worrying about what other people think. I'm way too busy living my life and doing my thing to be concerned about where I fall on any kind of spectrum.1|10|0

- Stand out one way or another. Synonymous to "Lead, Never Follow" that I learned from a car commercial.1|00|0
- Hahaha, i love this question.
stand out of course (and be alone as a side effect). Why follow the mass? Why not lead by example? The rewards will be there.1|00|0 - I don't try either. I feel like people who even think like that are trying too hard or even have an ego. I don't even fucking think about this shit. To answer your questions though I stand out.2|00|0

- Haha, neither. Both of those are still letting the group idea define you.
I be myself, and that is enough1|00|0 - No one who was great fitted it. In order to redefine the world for the bettee you must stand out. If you fit in then you cannot become great. However this is not to say that people who stand out are great as that statement is false.1|00|0
