What was the most distracting thing you ran into at the grocery store?

Once there was this guy with headphones on in a weird green and red jacket vest and he would be walking and then start dancing in place and then walk again, and continue in a cycle. This was at a self checkout so I got to watch this with my mom for a good 6 minutes or so. Weirdest shit I ever seen and nothing has beat it to this day.

While I was working at K-mart way back when, we had a whole... gaggle? of girls come in on a Wednesday looking like they had just come out of church, in gorgeous dresses, hair all done up, going aisle by aisle and just checking out everything.

Apparently they were a bunch of Mennonite women doing whatever journey they do to choose their life or the modern life.

I saw rotten eggs on a counter and there was no label to indicate they were rotten. They assumed people would know since they were not in the refrigerated section but I thought there might be a dummy who would pick them up not knowing they were bad such as a retired person or a severely disabled person.
