Shower curtain in or outside the tub when you're taking a bath?

Simple question just wondering :P I put it outside since I don't usually splash and its annoying on the elbows

  • I keep it inside so water doesn't drip down around the rim of the tub. Before we got a new tub put in a few years ago, the floor covering was peeling up because of mold and mildew from water dripping down in front of the tub (and from my sister and I overflowing the bathtub a couple of times when we were little kids). It was so gross.

  • In for a shower.

The water can still splash out and ruin the floor around the tub.

  • a bath sucks if you limit your space by putting the curtain inside the tub

just throw a towel on the floor outside of the tub.. but there's no reason water should end up on the floor anyway from a bath

    unless you're giving a kid/animal a bath
