Why do you deserve a boyfriend/girlfriend?

I don't know that I would say I "deserve" a boyfriend, but I would say some wonderful guy out there does deserve all of the divine things I have to contribute. I have a whole lot of good to bring into this world. No matter how insecure I get, or how many mistakes I may make; I know for a fact that I possess an abundance of truly positive things to give to others. Despite the growing dying breed of good men, there are a select few that deserve what I have to offer.

Do I deserve a relationship? Well...I think everyone deserves a relationship. Not everyone deserves a high quality relationship. Some people deserve a low quality relationship, but they need a high quality relationship to show them just how much they DON'T DESERVE it. Often times, I feel like they need that high quality relationship snatched right away from them to make them change. But everyone deserves a chance even if they ruin it.

It's hard to answer this question without sounding conceited, lol...but I'll give it a shot.

I can't say that I "deserve" a boyfriend but I would like to have one. I have a lot of love to give and it's frustrating not to have an outlet for it.

I am a cheerful and optimistic person, easy to get along with, a very good listener, and am supportive, compassionate, and caring. I am intelligent, have a good job, and am financially stable. I am also willing to compromise, something that seems to be lacking in a lot of people.

However, to be fair, I am also a bit needy and thanks to a sociopath ex-boyfriend, I have pretty bad abandonment issues. I am rather high maintenance at times, but I try to make up for it by giving all of myself in return.

Not having an SO doesn't mean that I don't "deserve" one, it just means that we haven't been lucky enough to find each other yet. :)

I don't like the word "deserve" in this context. How do you deserve another human being? Everybody should strive to form good intimate relationships. People need to stop this idea of deserving certain people because they have x, why or z.

We all deserve love, but who we get that from hinges on compatibility.Relationships that work are based on what we both love and cherish together rather than what we imagine the other person can bring to us. It is not about the individual traits, but the traits we have together that can make a relationship work

People have standards which is fine, but they should never demand love from someone else.

I don't deserve a girlfriend.

-I do not have a pretty face.

-I am a weird individual who does random things.

-I do not have any "game" with women.

-I am socially awkward.

-I have no creative talents like singing, dancing or drawing. I'm only good at sports and science/math stuff.

-I am not a nice person

-I am not funny, have a sense of humor: yes, but I have dry humor.

-I know nothing about making a girl happy.

So all and all, while I would like to have a girlfriend, it just isn't possible. Oh well.

I don't deserve a girlfriend. I'll probably be the first one to admit it. I'm not a good guy and I do stupid things. I'm not a saint but I'm also not a devil.

There's my logical side which is trying to persuade me into never getting into any sort of relationship so I don't have kids and my partner doesn't have to waste her time..

and then there's my emotional side that's begging me to get a girlfriend and to experience life's pleasures.

I try to listen to my logical side more than the emotional one since it's addressing long-term consequences... but it's hard for me since my emotions can sometimes overpower my reasoning...

No one deserves a S/O. If they want it, they can get it. It's not like you can label yourself "Romantically Impaired" and people will suddenly help you out.

I say I deserve a girlfriend because I actually tried to get one, and now she's my wife so I guess hard work pays off
