They feel that by apologising they are saying "I am wrong" and "you are right". It is human nature for people to like to be "right" not "wrong" so they don't apologise. I however, see people like that as a little bit rude and very annoying.
What they are meaning by that is if the person apologizes all the time about little things. Always saying sorry if I'm in your way, run into you, or etc
I apologise if i feel i have a reason to. It depends on the circumstance or situation. I don't see it as a weakness , but It is annoying if someone apologises constantly , for things they don't need to apologise for.
accepting your mistake is brave... that man is stronger then the one who is childish and cannot see if he does something wrong..
Depends. If he doesn't realize why, or disagrees that, he is wrong, then it is not a good thing to apologize. That is merely putting a Band-Aid on the problem.
Well some people just don't think they are wrong. I think a person wanting to apologize has to do with them being open, empathetic towards their partner, and comfortable being vulnerable in that situation.
I guess I didn't really answer your title question. I bet it has to do with a lot of people thinking appearing right looks dominant to others. So admitting possibly doing something wrong shows the person isn't perfect.
I think it's related to being prideful.
It's true! hahaha
