What would YOU do in this situation?

You've known a girl for a while, you hit it off great after you meet, and you quickly become friends.

After being friends for a bit, you both confess that you have feelings for each other, and you both decide to give it a chance to let it become more than friendship.

You're together for almost eleven months, and then she decides to break up with you because she's depressed (and that's evident, it's not something she made up out of nowhere), and she claims that she doesn't have what it takes to keep up a relationship with anyone in her state.

However...

An old friend of hers comes back after being gone for a long time, and just a week or two after he returns, he tells her that he wants to see her, and then she explicitly tells you that she can't wait for the guy to go see her.

She knows full well that you wish that she had never broken up with you and that you still love her the same way. She tells you that she still wants to be around, and that she still wants you to be around as well, but she constantly brings up that guy, and she's told you both that she "doesn't know if she'll ever want to get back with you," and then a few days later says that she "misses you and has been thinking about it."

What would YOU do if you were in this situation, guys? And girls, I welcome your answers too, you can just change the person from a girl to a guy (or whatever you prefer). :)
