A few of them... yes.And of different genres. You've got mail is one of my all time favourites (you're probably sick of me mentioning that one 😅 ), but also the Lake house, the holiday, love actually, the hitch, ... I think I need to stop 😂 Also Dancing movies, like Step up, center stage, honey, dirty dancing, grease (dancing and love are such a great combination)
Thanks Amanda! I will check out the one you mentioned too ☺Sydney thanks for MHO! 💕
I have seen a tonne of love stories, but right now the one that comes to mind is 'The Bridges of Madison County' because it shows the entire relationship, start to finish, over 5 days. And it was real, true passion and love. And then it ended. I am a puddle on the floor when I watch it. Every time.
I heard that it'll do that to you.
Haven't seen it yet though
If you like Meryl Streep then you will probably like it.I read the book and I actually think the movie was better. I got rid of the book. It was from the man's perspective, the author really lived that life. But when Clint Eastwood signed on to direct the movie, he asked Meryl if she would be a part of it, and she believed, as I did, that the story was better told from the woman's point of view. So they had to re-write the screenplay. She did an amazing job with it, as usual. And Clint was also phenomenal. I loved both their characters. The scene in the truck in the rain will rip your heart out. Get your kleenex ready. I fall apart every time, and I've seen it like six times.
I need a good cry every once in a while. I'll definitely check this one out. Thanks for the background info!
Wow, no offense, People, but most of these answers suck big time. Y'all need to get a lesson in cinema. Look up AFI's Top 100.
I found that I can rent it on Amazon!
Nice pic from Wall-E. Amazing how the film-makers can put so much expression into a pair of mechanical eyebrows. But I digress - - - Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail. Yeah, I know guys - they're chick flicks.
I know... precious Wall-E. This are chick flicks! But you're allowed. Haha
Meg Ryan's face used to be so cute (till she tried to improve it and failed - as did Catherine Bell from JAG)
Thanks for the MHO.
HYes Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Pretty Woman
Stop it. That's my favorite love story.
I saw a Broadway style musical production of it!
I'd love to see that
Thanks for the MHO
"Somewhere In Time", a 1980 film with a cult following that stars Christopher Reeve, Jane Seymour, and Christopher Plummer.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Somewhere_in_Time_(film)https://youtu.be/9uicvPZSKIM
"The (500) Days of Summer" is also a great movie - especially for males with a broken heart or females who want to understand the male broken heart because that's exactly how it is.Also, consider "The Adjustment Bureau", "The Time Traveler's Wife", and maybe also "Dr. Zhivago".
I love that movie! <3 Reeve & Seymour were awesome!

Wall-E actually. It’s a cinematic masterpiece told with very few words from the two main characters. It’s adorable and makes me feel kind of lonely, but makes me feel a little motivated to go up and ask out the girl I want to. Wall-E is my favorite movie of all time.
Mine too!! Wall-E is the greatest love story. ❤❤
I have had arguments with both of my sisters about why Wall-E is the best movie. I’ve never won, but I’ve also never lost.
I hope not to have occasion to fall in love again. But I do love all genres of movies and love stories as much as any. Some that affect me the most don't have happy endings, including (500) Days of Summer, Dr. Zhivago, West Side Story and Casablanca. For you kids, I strongly suggest To Have and to Have Not. It's amazing to watch the actors fall in love as their characters do. And what man couldn't help but fall in love with a young Lauren Bacall?
Wall-E is so cute! haha. It shows that relationships dont need to have speech to be valid <3 Love is universal. For me, hmmm, I haven't seen many American Romance movies that made me want to fall in love. TBH we have the worst romance movies. Indian movies have better romance stories.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QyXUZpegpI</a>
Ugh ps i love you, idc it was good, the whole letter thing got me and i was like i should do Somthing like that, Know what isn't good the 1st 50 shades of gray here o was expecting some real kinky shit you know tie her up, slap hom around spit in her mouth you know i psyched myself up for it but it was just a bunch of aggressive missionary sex imma have to watch the others to know if the did them wrong too.
Nope. I couldn't call what we had love azad anyway. More obsession or something like that. I legitimately dont think I'm capable of feeling love for anyone or really anything. But I also don't go into it saying I'm magical. I just lay it out how it is. Which is probably why I've been single so long. Also I dont truly enjoy being around others most if the the time.
Overboard (the original) and Ever After are my favourite romance movies ❤️ I feel like Ever After is so underrated, much better than Disney's version of Cinderella.
The notebook I crave for that type of love, but I know it's unrealistic.
Scarface! If i may paraphrase Tony Montana first you get the money, then you get the power, then you get the women. That's about as close to real as it gets.Love is an illusion most the time. Most the times what we see quite simply our feelings and heart created.
500 days of Summer made me fall in love with Zooey Deschanel... does that count?
Sure does. She broke that poor guy's heart.
I know but a girl that funny, with that musical taste, and that cool kinda allows me to give her a pass lol
I like this one
But it's so sad. 😭
@beebella Awww hunnie sorry for making you sad -Hugs-
Well, soon I'm going to be too old for that and I'm not fond of making the first move.. so it's best not to be left craving the improbable.
Too old for what?
Movies, not moves
Too old for love xD Nobody will want me in 10 years if I'm not rich ahaha.
I’m not rich yet someone wanted me! And I’m twice your age.
@talloak That's reassuring, good for you!
The Magnificent Seven. check out the scene with the gunslinger and the Mexican maiden! Love blooms in teh desert;O)
The Sound Of Music and The King and I. Those 2 Oscar Award Winning movie is worth to see! It’s an Old classical movie! #Hugefanofoldmovies
Did you guys see Passengers. That is maybe the best romantic movie I ever watched.
I like it too. Doesn't go down as one of my favourite love stories at all, but I really liked the internal conflict of Chris Pratt's character. It was quite an unpredictable and different sort of sci-fi.
I know it was a sci-fi romantic comedy. That's why i liked it so much. It was also pretty realistic emotional conflict. I would classify it as a love story because i don't like the traditional ones much. I find them one dimensional. I also have a crush for Jennifer Lawrence and i like how she faught for him in the end so they were both the hero together. It was so good.
Ever see Definitely, Maybe? any guy that doesn't just try to not show he is crying, watching with a girlfriend, at then end, and, well, no spoilers!! The little kid, Amber Breslin, wow!! Amazing!!
no because in every fucking movie, the man magically knows she wants him and they end up together happily. that shit doesn't happen irl. at least not in my life.
Top gun, fall in love with motorbikes and jet planesBack to the future, fall in love with the 80sBroke back mountain, fall in love with, ermmm... Horses, yeah horses
Do I have to say? Too many, and 'Chic Flicks' but I like them, and maybe. . .
Almost any movie has a love plot ready player one I just watched now and it makes me want and yern for another girl :(
I used to fantasize that I was Tom Cruise's co-star in Top Gun instead of Kelly McGillis.
You would have been a superior choice over Kelly any day.
@talloak: Awww! :) Thanks!
Yes one hundred percent is an anime movie called Your Name and A Silence Voice that makes me want to give love another chance
Yeah, this one.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7wd5KEaOtm4
it's not about a movie it's about healing inside that helps 1 has to find ways to heal an be whole again after being hurt or being. used what ever has made them feel love doesn't happen
not unless I was watching it witha rainbow trout in the sea of fish(if you get my meaning)
I don't... but thank you for sharing
That Awkward Moment is one of the few movies that reminded me of love that I missed
Nope. Cause all those movies are fake depictions of love. Kind of like how porn is a fake depiction of sex
Untrue. There are tonnes of great love stories that don't end happily, just like life. Someone dies, or someone is already committed to another, or there were crossed signals and misunderstandings... so many reasons for it not all ending happily. But it doesn't make them not love stories. And yeah, all produced porn is fake. Except for Amateur/Homemade.
There are several that gently break my heart and help me sort through the pieces. I am already falling, but they make me glad I found my person
can't really think any the top of my mind to try the first time.
no there aren't. in fact if you look at the movie UP it is the most depressing movie to ever exist since the beginning of movies ever being made
Most are too sappy. Honestly the best couple I've seen portrayed on screen lately was from A Quiet Place. No words were needed.
I long more for a peer group.Unless i am horny but then i more think of the act then person
There are few like anime called inyuasha or movies like titanic or faults in are stars or What Dreams May Come or A walk to remember.
No. I want a movie that I can go to when I fall in love again
Nope, because i haven't fallen in love a first time yet
Chances are you have. You probubly just don't want to admit it because then you have to admit that she/he got away. I may be wrong but if I'm right just know it doesn't make you weak. It makes you human.
You're completely wrong. Don't pretend to know me.
No but there are definitely WOMEN that make me want to fall in love again.
Fifty shades of grey, fifty shades of freed, fifty shades of darker. 😈
Dreamworks Animation’s Captain Underpants: the First Epic Movie
Any movie with Ryan Renynalds, even dead pool! lol and that Christmas special one

Just saw the two Mamma Mia movies.
They are the best
@Ally247 Yes... Lily James... Amanda Seyfried <3 <3 <3 <3 I'm in love.
Haven't seen the second yet, but the first was far more fun than I expected. And the scenery was gorgeous too.
The second is even better than the first! You're missing out
@Ally247 Yes the second one is much better. Everyone gets better at singing, Lily James joins the fun, Amanda Seyfriend is more beautiful than ever, and the cinematography is much better than it has any reason to be.
Titanic.. can u look at my most recent question
It could happen to you
The movie that really effects me is Mannequin.
