Say your girlfriend is extremely affectionate and flirty whenever you’re around and is kind of obsessed with you in the sense that she always wants to be around you, talk to you, hit on you, cuddle, spend her time with you and just be with you the majority of the time in your daily life. Explain WHY (or why not) that would be a bad thing?

The guy im seeing is somewhat like that: he can barely keep his hands off me, tells me how much he likes me, compliments me etc. If i have time and he has freetime he will spend it with me.
I do like it to a degree, but i definitly need and want time to miss him. Its not necessarly a bad thing, but not necessarly a straight up good all the time
Of course being desired by our partner is important and helps us feel loved and valued. But a partner should only add to our life. Once they become their life. It’s definitely too far. Obsession isn’t loving.
It is not a bad thing at all. Those are basically my only expectations... communication, affection, and attention. Everything else will fall into place or can be discussed.

There has to be a balance. I love it when my girlfriend is affectionate but sometimes I need my own space so it would be a serious issue if she didn't respect that

Like give me an example of when you wouldn’t want her to be affectionate and when you would and why
My girlfriend is pretty much always clingy and affectionate when we're together and I'm ok with it but eventually I usually start to feel kind of claustrophobic or smothered so I just tell her I'd like some space and she usually has no problem with it.
I think the easiest way to avoid any issues is just being honest with each other and trying not to get upset or offended when he asks you for some space
I don't consider it bad. My girlfriend is clingy. In addition, I'm clingy myself, so I like to show my affection, and I like when she does the same. I love cuddles, I'm glad she does too.

It's a bad thing if it's not reciprocated. Considering the fact that the other person may start valuing you less.
