Are you more happy being single or in a relationship?

I’m pretty happy either way. I’m never really ever completely alone. When I was single I always had a friends with benefits or dumb little flings with various guys. I used to prefer being single because I liked being chased by numerous guys and I had never really ever been in a super serious long lasting relationship with someone that loved me. All my past relationships were kind of bullshit. Now that I’m in a good loving relationship I prefer it more than being single. The consistency is nice. It’s nice waking up to the same face every morning, and cuddling up to the same body every night. And he knows almost everything there is to know about me. It’s nice to be understood.

I'm ok being single because I can do anything without considering other people's thoughts. But I do miss hearing the i love yous, i miss yous and the thought that someone cares. I think I am more happy being with someone. Who doesn't want to be loved? Love is a happy feeling. ☺️

Single I think. Been in relationships before and it seems like compatibility with me is really hard to find. Sure, being in a relationship has its perks but the risk that comes along isn't something I am comfortable with. Besides, I have become a little spoilt by the attention I get and it is really hard for me to compromise or settle with someone as of now.

Single by far !! After the marriage I endured and also ended , never again for a relationship , do not even want to date , do not want multiple job interviews !! Single dad too , so even if I wanted a relationship , I would be highly unlikely to get into one.

this is a great question. I think it depends on how one defines 'relationship'. I was married for 20 years and cannot ever see being married again because my experience wasn't the best. I'm in what I believe is a relatively seriou 'relationship' now (we will be moving in together soon) and I'm very happy, but only because we are not 'exclusive' - we both have "permission" to see/date others, as long as we're open and honest about it. So I guess my answer is 'in a relationship' just so long as it does not mean being married !

I'm definitely lonely, but have not been in a long relationship , and that was long ago. On paper, I'd think I'd be more happy in a relationship. Having someone to talk to when you want, share experiences, care for each other, hugs and kisses sound nice too. Just having human contact is a important thing. To me that is. But it's also hard to see that happening, unfortunately.
