Sorry i have to disagree there buddy, to get married to an unbeliever for the hope that God will one day open their eyes is very dangerous, holy matrimony, two people to become as one flesh is a very holy and serious thing before the eyes of God, too many people are getting divorced too easy these days because it's become the norm in this modern world, aposlte Paul tells us that if we put worldly persuits before God, we will have worldly trials and tribulation, so if she's an unbeliever how long do you think it'll take before she can no longer stand you talking about Jesus who she thinks is just a story, and for you to slowly stop saying his name, reading, or sharing with people the truth of the gospel in front of her just to keep her happy or to avoid conflict between you both? Or if you had kids she would not allow you to preach to them and bring them up in the Lord. It's a slow process back to the pit and you'll be ignoring the call and expectation we've been so gracefully given to by our father, we mustn't be unequally yolked with the world, we're in the world but not of it..
.. We cannot change anyone's mind into the truth or force them to accept Jesus, this is between them and God alone, it's spiritual warfare, God can only draw them to the flock of Jesus and open their eyes and soften their hearts, and for the individual to call out and repent from a true heart, we have no authority over anyone's salvation, God's in the driving seat and he will arise an opportunity before us who he wants us to share with,, the story of Lazaurus and the rich man in Luke comes to mind, when Abraham talks to the rich man in hell from afar..But a proverbs 31 woman/wife can only be found if she's been truly reborn into Christ, that woman doesn't exist in the world. Stand firm brother, trust in the Lord, he wouldn't give you someone who he doesn't know himself, God is strengthening your patience, building character, we don't always know why things are as they are, but we must always trust in him and praise him, in joy and sorrow. 🙏➕🕊️
I know and your not telling me anything I don't already know but, I've dated mainly Christians for the last 26 years and the most heartache, pain and grieve I've experienced ironically came from those people. I've been searching and praying for a wife for the last 16 years and nothing has happened but repeated heartbreak and pain. So if I meet a good woman who'm I share the same views, values and morals with, similar interests and have a good connection with, I might just be with her.I received a prophetic dream a long time ago regarding the issue so I know I will be married and have children, I just have no idea with who, all I know is 16 years of pain is to much, I just want it to end honestly and just find someone who'll help start the healing process. But I irregardless I never forget that my faith is most important and I would never be with someone that wouldn't let me be a christian or that wouldn't let me teach my kids about God.
The devil has so many people blinded this day and age through his devices shutting them off from the truth of Jesus, it is hard to find a true Christian opposed to what 50-60 years ago? We are definitely in the end times, 50-60 years ago if you didn't believe in Jesus you were considered mad, but today if you believe in Jesus you're considered mad, but to be thought of by the world to be mad i embrace, it shows we're on the right path, the narrow way, because Jesus tells us, 'they will hate you for my names sake, if they hate you, they hated me first'.We just have to stand firm, all will fade and pass, but Jesus is forever. If you come across her who's truly reborn into Christ, and you can see fruit bearing and can spiritually discern her being sincere, accept her, we all have a past but Jesus makes us a new creation, so if in her past she's 'slept around alot', that was the old and buried self, she'll be a new creation in Christ, don't let the past of ignorance possibly stop a loving future of holy matrimony, with Jesus at the center. 🙏➕🕊️
@Soundtruth. Well said my friend. I appreciate the reply.
The same, growing up we knew no different, up until that transitioning point where we're enlightened to our Lord's existence and what's expected of us through the word and spiritual guidance, but now, if she's not a follower of Christ there's no future for us, as, 'we shan't be unequally yolked'.

True, it gets testing and lonesome at times, but maybe because of how we used to be, this is what we're reaping? Not too sure, but one thing i do know is that i trust the Lord completely and his timing is perfect, and up until then he's reading our hearts and watching to see how we'll handle things, who we put first and what sacrifices we make for him.
Continuing to wait for a partner who's also a follower of Jesus rather than giving up and getting with someone of the world.
Really but I am not Christian and religion don't matter to me.
Religion is man made through the devil for our confusion, but Jesus is God made for our love and salvation.
Sorry I am strong follower of my own religion and it's most old religion before than anyone.
