When you have an argument with your S/O are you able to talk about it or do you/they walk away?

Sometimes the better part of valor when things are going south is to retreat until you can assess both sides. In other words, walk away. That way neither of you will say something in anger that you don't mean. Then you can come back in a calm manner to discuss each of your feelings and you are more likely to compromise. But the major part is to not let the sun go down on your anger. Don't go to bed angry as you probably will not have a good night's sleep and just stew about it. It is better to talk about it, resolve the issue, and then kiss and make up with both of you saying you're sorry. If you can't do that your arguments will only grow worse and your relationship will not be long on this Earth.
