well.. thankyou. you sounded just bit like i was saying something against men in general... let me clarify... when my husband had his teeth pulled and dentures at a young age... i was there for him... taking care of him... trying my best to understand his discomfort at other knowing he had dentures. whereas i am walkin around with one boob and chemi radiation startin anytime and he is gone. thats why i was askin
I didn't think you were saying anything bad about men, don't worry. It's awful to hear that about your husband. Did he leave? Or is he just less involved?
I didn't know for sure by ur reply. Thats why I explained a bit more to you. No he has not been involved or even concerned lately
Do you have kids who can help take care of you? I've met plenty of men who would kind of "drop-out" when things got tough, but I can't imagine being one myself. You need at least somebody to care for you post-session. I've never met a person who didn't have a terrible time with their first several chemo treatments.
i have a child... a 12 yr old so we have relocated temp to be with my family through my treatments. I hope I made the right choice. We both have the best support now.
I think now, you just need to do whatever you can to get by. Your husband might not like it, but that'll have to be fine.
