I don't know, actually it's me who gets peeved off getting mistaken for French because of my name and heritage.I'm not real French, Corsica is not real France and my children will not speak that accursed dialect I spoke at home and that I'm trying to forget. My fiancée doesn't agree with that, she wants our children to know both this and her Austrian roots.
Well, I cannot really help ya there. As for me I don't know who or what my ancestors are or from what roots I came from but I also don't care because money is everything for me. Mutant or not, I always follow the money, that's for sure.I mean I honestly don't know my roots, so I tell people that. 🤷♀️
It's not necessarily racism, it could also be wanting to distance themselves from the family or from that heritage.
