In simple words, you referred to a law that basically explains that materials will continue to be in a constant state of motion infinitely. But you forgot to study the rules for the law. For a body to continue its state of motion you need to make sure that there is no opposite force that will change its status from motion to static. You need a force to start the motion despite its own resistance And then to ensure the absence of other forces such as air, surface friction, and many others including me catching or pushing against the item until it stops. Same as with your car's break pads pushing agains your tiers to stop them.
Then you spoke of speed which is totally different and it is a finding of the law and not the law itself. Speed got nothing to do with these forces I explained earlier. It is simply how much distance (km) an item can travel in time (hours). That is your speed. We don't care in simple general terms about the force it caused it or the forces that are trying to slow it down or stop it (surface in your question).If all that is clear now let me ask you this.. if you drive your car a 100 km/hr does that mean that the road (pavement) has to travel on a faster speed to allow your car to be that fast? Actually no the road is static. So light is not travelling that fast because there is something faster that makes it travel that fast. You need a trigger to initiate the motion (expulsions on the sun) and then measure distance travelled and time taken to reach the destination (earth) 😉.. of course that's not how it was measured I am just trying to simplify the topic here 🤫😁
Look up "quantum physics" and then look up "2nd law of motion does NOT apply, to light". You'll see that not everything is affected by newtons second law, and has to do more with what's called "quantum physics"
by the way gravity and speed of light are two different phenomenon and under two different laws in physics and they do not have the same value. Light is a relational material that moves on a constant speed. But gravity is a force (not a material) and it is measured as an acceleration and not speed 🌹 meaning its speed is not constant. Items free falling will travel faster and faster under gravity force until they hit the ground. That constant increase in speed for each second of falling is known as gravity. And it has a value of 9.8 m/s2.
Dear friend I already explained to you that nothing is absolute and not all objects or materials behave same way under same laws. I already explained that. I studied physics and I understand quantum physics and also understand the irregularities of science within the context of general laws and behaviours. In the overall picture very likely. However I can't date fat or ugly women no matter how kind or intelligent she is. It's simply not going to work.Most women are beautiful anyway. Some more, some less.
