Also they are still friends with the ex as they have mutual group of friends and are in the same political party. So according to them it is difficult to completely cut the ex off and you have to just trust them.
Yes, it is unfair to otherwise ask them to leave their party or all of their friends
Vote A
Yes, I am not insecure and I don't get jealous
Vote B
No, On and off relationships are a tendency to fall on what is familiar. It is a behavior for those who can't really leave
Vote C
No, men and women can never be really friends and especially with their ex. This is BS
No, and it's not because I'm jealous or insecure. I just don't want to end up in a possible love triangle, or having anyone else being jealous of our relationship, expecially an on and off ex. I imagine this person getting something out of it whenever they hear of any disagreements between us.
Relationships are complicated enough without all that.
Yeah, I'm not really sure about that.. It's not the still being friends with the ex as much as the being friends with an ex that was on and off for years part. It would make me wonder if I'm just a fill-in for the off part till they back on again... To which:

Well it seems risky when they have been going on and off for a long time. I'm not sure I would want to be part of that personally. I would take things very slow and see but it will be harder to trust that I will say. When there is a pattern it's hard to break that so with that in mind it would be difficult to find trust which is crucial for a relationship. I think if it has gone considerable amount of time since they were last together then it would feel better.
On and off relationship is just like having your hopes up and down with a relationship. I don't want to be friends with my ex. I value my friends. Friendship is neutrality. Do I feel neutral about my ex? NO. My friendship is not a consolation prize for breaking my heart. I want to move and I wouldn't be able to do so if they are there.

I'd try out the relationship then wait to see the ex's reappearance. Once he/she steps back in. I'm gonna bounce 😎
That's a non starter then. Way too arkward and too much temptation that could happen...

If they're involved in politics together, then they kind of have to still be friends. But you can get involved as well if you want and become part of the group. He shouldn't have any problems with that if he doesn't have anything to hide.
I won't. People on and off have a tendency to make most of their relationships like that. It they still haven't cut off their ex doesn't that still mean they "on and off"
He says this one is final and he moved out of the city to be away from her. But they still friends and attend political meetings together. Merely platonic.
When you take the characters in friends it's a good example. Ross at times wanted a good slap. But he came across as really loving Rachel. It's that , that really counts...
Tell her it bothers you. Maybe she loves you more than her ex.

ahhh here's the thing she's been in a relationship with me for 3 years and is with some dipshit loser of a guy for 6 months now. I proposed this past valentines and the loser bum she's with now proposed 4 months into it. she didn't say a damn word to me if she would or wouldn't but accepted his proposal. but here's the kicker the deadbeat loser was to cheap to buy her a ring she had to buy one for herself. she sold her old home and used part of that money to buy herself a ring because the deadbeat wouldn't buy her one. even though I bought her one that costed thousands. granted not as expensive as the one she bought herself but still it was something she didn't have to buy herself the one I was going to give her.
