My father asked me to promise him not to cry when he pass away, when I was six and he learned he’s got a brain tumor. I didn’t cry and the trauma is killing me, still after 4 years! After some time, months probably, I finally broke the promise and cried. I wish my answer don’t be awkward or anything.
No, I only make promises I know I can keep if I'm not sure I'll just say "I'll try" or something

The thing about a promise is that they are all important,, because 9 out of 10 time the only reason you are going to use that word , is when you didn't follow through the first time
I have had to learn the hard way ,, I have broken a lot of them , I help people everyday in life. And people who I have let in they know what I do, because I've probably have done it for them ,, I could have promised my best friend I would do something for them , and like I said the only reason I had to make that promise is because something happen the first time ,, so now I make that promise that commitment to follow through. , and its doesn't matter because in that moment there will be a stranger or a lady with kids broke down just something it never fails. I will be tested keep my promise. Or help this person that need help right now ,, and the people I have promised will say I failed ,, the person I just helped will say thank you 4 out of 10 times ,, I will be pisses because I know better to promise anybody anything because the moment I do is the moment I say wait look I will try but I can't promise you anything , because you know and I know the moment I say I PROMISE I WILL ,,, !, is the moment you know I mean well but it's also only in that moment ,,, there is always GOING to be another moment I have to make a choice it's really messed up ,,, but I'm the one who puts myself in those moments so I have learned to say sorry can't promise you that or if I can I will but don't count on it

Never broken a promise, but that has consequences on its own because those promises were mostly emotional decisions
I've had people's promises to me broken, and it rendered my promises to them invalid, so I don't know if that counts as a broken promise, those have 0 consequence right now

I've never broken an important one but there have been times where someone told me not to say anything and I let it slip 😬😅 thankfully I've gotten much better with that 😊

I dont make promises often because im the girl of my words and if i did promise anyone, i will find my ways to do it. Same reason why i dont give fault hopes, and never say "never" and "forever".
Yes. I said i was over gambling. Then resumed gambling. Then i came clean and admitted i lied. I have not gambled ever since. 4 months on.

Nope. A promise is a promise. It's a matter of honor. I don't make them lightly.

I haven’t, yet. I made a promise to my vice principal, after she humiliated me and told me I’d never be nothing. That promise was to have a half pipe in the middle of my office. I am currently in the process of making that work.
Yes... promise with self it does brooke and after make up again... I think promise with self most important thing in the life... So life is with up and down... and promises try to make it stable...
