7 calls seems excessive unless you are planning something but some people don't like to text. Just set up some boundaries for calling that both of you can live with. And, also, ask her why so many calls. To her it might not seem excessive but you have to see if it comes from some insecurity. The reality is that couples get closer with phone calls, facetime, etc versus texting.

No.. I don't think it's necessary or romantic to call anyone 7 times a day everyday. I am in a LDR and I don't even call my boyfriend once everyday. We do talk everyday tho.
