Is it normal that we don't talk too much but we enjoy each other's company and both are sirious also?

I enjoyed his company so much. the feeling is like so pleasant. we know everything about eachother. that's actually long distance type and it takes 1hr 30 minutes to reach him. but when we return our home we don't talk too much. yes we feel each other every time. but still we dnt talk too much. he is so devoted to his business and I am to my studies and job. We both are sirious. is it normal?
