My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost five months. we will be spending New Year’s Day together, but for New Year’s Eve he wants to spend it with a couple of his buddies instead of me. should I be upset with him?

Why didn't u join him n his buddies? I've had a boyfriend choose friends over me did not last long lol sorry but if u pick ur boy on vday thats where I draw the line. Halloween no prob. Thanksgiving no prob. Christmas no prob. New years kinda becoming a prob vday oh hell no.

Honestly, you two have only been together for 5 months. You guys are spending the day together which is fine. If you two were together say a year or longer then you have the right to be annoyed that he's not with you for the countdown.
