How would you know if it can't be traced back? You would take the chance?
Well if it's something not distinguishable with no serial number on it it's not easy to prove it doesn't belong to me.Like I wouldn't accept a stolen gun, or the Mona Lisa these things can be traced, also probably not any electronic device or a car.But there are things that might be safer. A piece of clothing picked from a pile for example. Or something for decoration, or a plant. These things are a bit safer to keep
So if he did shop lift it would you keep it?
@CherokeehpThat means you are okay with people stealing from a store?
@MysteriousDarkness Not a small business, but from large corporations yes.
@MysteriousDarkness Large corporations bring in billions of dollars per year. They have portions of their budget allocated for losses such as theft or damaged goods. I couldn’t really care less if he stole from a store. As long as he got away with it.

Ha ha ha
Ha good points
What would the price have to be to not turn them in or keep the item?
My gut says I wouldn't turn them in, but rather dump them after chastising them, then returning the item. I just can't see myself having strong emotions for someone, sleeping with them on a regular basis and then turning them into the cops when they getting me a gift. Even if they broke the law to do it.But if they stole from someone rather than say a store. I'd have them return it to the individual
If they said no would you turn them in?
Ha Ha Ha Ha
Why is it hot to steal from a rich person? Both are wrong.
Daaaang... dyslexia much? Lol This could’ve been written in so many different ways: “Nope. They somehow managed to get it for me, and it’s the thought that counts.” “Nope. They’ve managed to somehow get it for me, and it’s the thought that counts.”
Even if he did rob a bank I wouldn't report him... like... For what? It's just stealing. Not rape or murder or molestation.
If they’d attacked someone for it then yeah and I’d leave (not that I’d be with someone like that anyway).
