Do white latinas generally experience racism in America?

It depends where. Look at what Donald Trump said about Hispanics 4 years ago and still, the majority of people voted for him. Also, the cages along the border (race based). There was ICE regulations preventing Hispanics from Mexico to go to college if classes were to go online which they did. I would move to a diverse area or to a city with lots of other Hispanics. I am Asian and was bullied in high school in a majority white school. They would make racist jokes about my name and say I was named after a spoon fell on the floor. "Ching Chong dong." However, when it comes to white people, most of them are great people. For every one racist, there is 50 good ones. Racist white people are extreme minorities. The unique cases just get blown out of proportion.
Do latinas experience racism? To answer your question, yes. Just as much as other races but it is not covered. Only white on black racism is covered. Google "Mexican cages" or "ICE Hispanics" to see what I mean.

Not from what I’ve seen to be honest. But I guess it also depends on the region you visit ya know. California really no one cares but if you go to a super small southern city people may judge your accent but otherwise the majority of us are good people

If you watch the US news there are white supremacist rallies everywhere. If you visit for yourself you will discover that there isn’t a white supremacists anywhere but in the medias’ and their ardent followers’ heads.


A close friend of mine moved to East Tennessee and her son who happens to be half latin gets significantly more attention from women there than he ever did from the women in the ‘progressive’ state of which he is from. Apparently he has lots of friends there. Which would contradict the narrative about Southerners.


Frankly in my experience the more progressive a place is tends to be where you find your greatest collection of bigots, separatist, and generally unhappy, unfriendly, self-loathing people.

Would depend on the state. On most part i think you wouldn't notice much. Maybe one odd ball been publicly racist. But mostly racists be quite about been so they keep to themselves or do it behind your back.

Latinas dont experience as much racism as much as other racial groups, especially since you are white passing, you shouldn't worry about a thing.
