The only thing I rely on her is that her being a nurse, she has the workarounds to get me particular medications and can administer me proper injections of a certain medicine.
What about you?
I only let her control the injections because I'm not capable of doing them myself and overdoses/improper administrations can cause grave consequences.
I'd learn how to do it myself. Even have her teach me. Otherwise if she ever needs to leave town on a family emergency or work extra late or she gets really sick and can't do anything: you'll be up a creek. Better to plan ahead than hope for the best.
She actually brought up this possibility, but I've always refused.
Maybe I should let her teach me.

Get a blood oxygen meter at least. Will know if your lung function is going downhill or what. They cost lie $40-$80 or something
