Guys, how important is having a girlfriend?

I really understand how he feels as there's so much pressure put on men to have sex and be with a girl or else other men and women tease them and see them as being useless or a loser with something wrong with them. Some guys just don't connect with a lot of women due to shyness or having a specific set of standards. I myself am 27 and a virgin have dated twice only very briefly and let me tell you it's frustrating as hell and kills my confidence as I'm not looking to just hook up and put out. I am looking for the woman I'm going to spend the rest of my life with, but a lot of the time I'm feeling very lonely and frustrated/angry because I just wish I could find someone already as I have friends who are either constantly getting with a new person every so often or are getting married and having kids already and it makes me feel like a worthless loser. My dreams in life are to get married to my true love and have a few kids and to have to wait and go through life feeling that you aren't ever going to reach those goals is very depressing and seeing/hearing other people getting to do that makes it feel even worse. It's super frustrating and can really mess with your head. A lot of the time I hate hanging out with couples because I get jealous and envious of their relationship. It makes me feel out of place and reminds me I'm single and unhappy and makes me feel unwanted by women, unattractive and kills my confidence. Loneliness sucks.

I'd say it's somewhat important. Cause you know you see couples hanging out and there's things like school dances and Valentine's day. So lots of couple activities and things to remind you that you're single.

And it definitely messes with your mind a bit cause you keep thinking what's wrong with me? Am I that much of a loser?

And I think this is also what produces some men that are incels or pure mysognist.

But... I think for most guys as they get older they realize it's not that big of a deal. In fact you do save a ton of money cause you don't have to spend it on a girlfriend.

Plus you have more free time to do what you want. You don't have to follow her around and hang out with people you don't really like.

I am 26 and never had an actual girlfriend before outside of an online relationship and some brief flings.

It is horrible beyond what I can describe. My self esteem is in the pits. I am constantly frustrated, depressed, and angry. And I am 26!!! My peers have had at least one if not many girlfriends, multiple sex partners, and/or are married/have kids.

I desperately lost my virginity at age 20 to a 16 year old girl, and it was pitty sex. That was the one and only time I had sex. I haven't touched a girl in over 6 years now.

More than anything, I am wanting companionship, romantic connection, and a potential to have a wife and a family one day. I doubt that will become a reality.

If you ask me personally I don't give a damn anymore. I had my sex with several sluts and if I need more prostitutes exist.
