Is it worse to be in love with someone who is ultra clingy or ultra distant? I mean at extremes. Either they wanna be with you 24/7 or they barely want to see you.

It's interesting you want to focus on extremes rather than tendencies. Too much of anything will always make it a negative experience. Let's say I forced you to eat 500# of your favorite dessert, would you find it enjoyable? Ask yourself your reasons for wanting to choose any extreme.
Other than your fixation on extremes, your question may be related to independence vs dependence. Mutual interdependency can be healthy in a relationship, as long as both feel positive self-worth, in control of meeting their own needs and capable of achieving their goals.
You'll see more stability and growth when people meet in the center rather than at extremes. Picture a teeter totter.Picture the difference in results if you have a person on either end, and one gets off with no notice, as compared to balancing close to the center and one gets off. You choose which makes more sense to you.
While you can fix both types of people, a person who is distant would be more easier to help than one would say a person who is too clingy as they are too needy and needs constant attention. A person who is distant simply needs communication along with a few other things to understand that their partner needs them to communicate better with them and also plan bonding activities that will help their relationship grow overtime whereas a clingy person is gonna be like a dog who wants constant attention that’s gonna be hard to train.

Neither if possible but if I had to choose one it will be Ultra clingy. I can’t handle ultra distant, it wouldn’t even feel like a relationship anymore, I’m also more on the clingier side (with much needed attention and reaffirmation)

Ill take a stage 9 clinger any day lol.
Its a lot easier to set boundaries and reward your partner for sticking to them, than it is to feel like you are groveling for a second of someone's day.

Both bad but clingy sounds worse.
The distant one you'll find yourself missing them but you get to keep some privacy and alone time.
The clingy one just highjacks your life and you're stuck in their reality

For the record, I can't stand either one.
Answering your question, for me it'd be worse to be in love with the latter because it wouldn't even feel like a relationship.

I'm quite in the moment person so if she's not around I'd found other stuff to do and could still appreciate the time that we spend together, yet a clingy person would consume all my time what isn't cool.

Distant. That pretty much is a one--sided relationship. And as a dude; i don't mind clingy. If they get TOO bad, I'll just ignore them. But I like the attention.

Most guys get really possessive with me, so clingy is more normal to me. Distant doesn't work at all. I don't chase.

I'd much much rather have a Women that wanted to be with me 24/7 then to have one that is alway's gone because to me if u are alway's staying gone then u must not want to be around me an not love me. God Bless

Ultra distant would hurt me. Ultra clingy would just mildly annoy me.

There is a happy medium you know. Truth is, depends what you want at this time of your life. Maybe you appreciate their extreme behaviour regardless of what it is.
I could handle the Ultra Clingy but the Distant would bother me

Ultra distant is worse because it's barely a relationship at that point.

I’d rather be with someone who’s clingy because I always meet numb guys a lot which I’m fine but it’s like they can’t show their emotions much so we seem distant and it after time it’s a issue for me lol.
