The most important thing is communication. A lot of people take things for granted, get upset when it does not go the way they want. If they would communicate and be open with their wishes, likes and dislikes, then most relations would be a happy relations.

The problem is that people take things for granted. No, they are not and if something was okay one day, that does not mean it will be okay all the time.

Another major problem is sex and the unreasonable importance people place on it. Sex is the number one reason why people cheat. Being intimate represents less than one single percent of the activity of the awake time of an adult, yet they act as if this minor percentage is the single element that rules their couple. Wrong!

People fail to realize that sex is by far not as important as the rest of what constitutes a couple and that is the understanding, compassion, love (not physical), togetherness, among others.

No, I think that sex is the main reason for UNhappiness.

Sex is fine in the beginning of a relation but more often than not, it becomes a chore and that is what causes the first problems in a relation.
