It is good for them if they remain even as I am; but if they cannot exercise self-control, let them marry.

For it is better to marry than to burn with passion.

I'm not a Christian, but I'm a theist. I think sex before marriage is okay after being together with the partner after ca. 1 year and knowing them well, and thinks marriage is overrated. But I don't think you should rush to have sex and think it's too young. People should at least wait to they're 18 and I recommend them to wait longer if possible. Maybe 20 or something. I see sex as something special that would be more enjoyable doing it with the right one than sharing your cake with everyone. Then it's not special anymore and it's bigger possibility of accidents. Either STD or unwanted pregnancy (which often ends up as abortion).

It depends on your personal beliefs and philosophies. Personally I would say you’re to young. You don’t really know yourself or your beliefs yet. You’re still figuring things out. Give it some more time. Find somebody you really and truly love and explore your beliefs together. This sounds cheesy, but pray. Ask God what he wants you to do.

Depends on their views on sex before marriage. Personally, I don't have a problem with it, but I do consider 16 to be very young.
