The idea of depicting him with a halo was also borrowed from Roman mythology (something which was a rather late introduction to his depictions).

Even fictional people have a race just go off of what is said about him
but the fictionalized character of Jesus isn't really open for debate.. he is Jewish in the bible.anything else is just fanfiction...
I'm just seeing if people know this or not
those that know it and debate are welcome to do so because its no different from a character in a marvel comic... the comic is canon and the creator has the final say but im sure if the reader wishes to believe the character is from the same town/city they are to feel closer to the character the creator isn't going to care if it makes them happy ;)
There is no evidence for any of that
@OfDeath okay. Not offended. In fact, you might be right, since I can't really recall where I heard that before. Props if you can find find it.
@OfDeath How about the Bible? I looked again... And this is what I found:Jesus descended from David:2 Samuel 7:12–16Matthew 1The geneaology in Luke 3,Romans 1:3Matthew 15:22Matthew 20:30Matthew 21:15Luke 19:47Mark 12:35–37Psalm 110:1Revelation 22:16Jesus from the tribe of Judah:https://truthsaves.org/articles/jesus-of-judah/Numbers 34:14Numbers 1:18-44Leviticus 24:10Yay, atheist nerd, for the win! Lol :)
The Bible is not evidence.
@OfDeath LOL! Fully agreed:)
Just say it along what you believe it is
Again, I think you need to define the term.Because I would say that Jesus was a member of the Human Race for a time. He was God made flesh.
Ok then like black white Asian
If those are the only choices, then by your definition he would be "Mixed Race".
If you go by his name he was Hispanic/Latino
Middle East is in Asia not Africa.
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy It's in Asia but also North Africa.
But North Africa isn't black. Those countries of that part of the continent is mostly Arabs and Berbers.
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy Arabs can be Black
Yeah, dudes from the Congo and Sudan, but Persians, Turks, Pakistan etc aren't black.
@Hispanic-Cool-Guy There are Black Turks and Pakistanis.face2faceafrica.com/.../spotlight-forgotten-black-pakistanis-african-descenthttps://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Afro-Turks
(That was sarcasm if anyone couldnt tell, he was middle eastern if he existed - though thats highly doubtful)
Who in the world downvoted a historical fact?
Probably folks who still think Jesus was the only white guy in the Middle East lol
