What do you think about the illusion of control?

So say, for example, I decide I want to eat at a restaurant for lunch. Most people think they are in control of that decision. But I would argue that your not aware of all of the factors that make you decide to eat at that restaurant. Like: your not in control of what restaurants are available to you, your not in control of how your parents raised you (might have taught you to cook at home to save money), your not in control of what species you are and that you even have to eat. So that's not to say that we're out of control, but that control is just a word. And life can't be described with words without contradictions. I think it's like.. We are just chemical reactions. Thoughts?
