A sign from above it could be & it could also be your brain saying what if. What if things were different. What if you didn’t have a boyfriend at the time. What if you were the girl he verbally abused instead. What if opens up a lot of doors & you are lucky you closed this one.

I'd say the biggest thing here is the guy, I'd pray about it but I'd say there is fear, and maybe that's anixety where the other person came in maybe, you being hopeful. That's may take on it, but bring it before God

In your waking life, he has proven to be a garbage human being, so you didn't need a dream to confirm that you need to watch out for him. Maybe instead of taking the dream literally find what it represents. The guy could represent anxiety/danger/social ostracism and your brain is just making connections based off your personal experience of a time when you felt this way and it just so happened to be that guy, who was a dck by the way.

God doesn't send people prophetic dreams anymore, It might be a demon trying to scare you or something, but it isn't a warning from God.

Dreams are not prophetic. They just reinforce things you remembered in your life and aid in the learning process.

Some dreams are universal, like flying and teeth falling out, but that is explained by universal consciousness.

I usually get dreams of flying when I can't seem to breathe (I have mild sleep apnea), so it makes me have a floating sensation and when I fall, I wake up.

No. Divine dreams are usually symbolic and not as specific as certain people in your life that you already know. I think it's just your imagination getting away from you.
