Well, off to go fix the thresher out, catch you later...
... what happened to the stubborn mother? If anything, let's hope perhaps she took something away from the event.
Nothing. That's the bit that drove me crazy about it. Literally sees us hustling everyone inside and decides she's going to like pretend not to see us and then pretend not to hear us. I am so glad I broke the rules and told my staff grab those kids and let's go because it could have been so much worse. It was like our rule as management, no one dies or goes missing on our clock!
Well what happend to you? I mean the Docs obviously figured it out in time but I'm curious as to what your illness was considering the time table you were giving to live if they couldn't find an answer.
@zollo I was in septic shock. In most septic shock cases, there is a clear reason, such as an infected cut or ruptured appendix or something. In my case, they never found out what caused it. I had emergency surgery, several rounds of powerful IV antibiotics, and was in the ICU. I was in kidney failure and congestive heart failure, and yet somehow I'm still here.
Wow that's amazing, how is your heart and kidneys now? I'm guessing they just recovered but was there any lasting damage?

sorry, I meant to say it was a river, not a lake 🤍
In the pool, that is
That was probably the very moment you really learned to let go and swim, out of your depth so to speak. It's like a leap of faith for many.
Outrageously fortunate that sling saved you from suffering.
Stay safe. Your work is not yet done!
Thanks for the positive vibes
This probably sounds stupid but didn't it hurt? Part of the fear of death for me is the pain and I'd imagine having a heart attack wouldn't feel too nice.
@zollo The first one was burning like heart burn. The second one the artery collapsed, so did not feel a thing but my heart stopping. As a matter of fact, as it happened and I was falling, I said call 911 and bounced off a table. The only most pain came after, where they cracked my chest plate giving me cpr.
Oh jeez! They must've been pushing really hard, I don't think that happens in most cases giving CPR.
@zollo If you do it right it should crack some ribs. Have given CPR a few times also.
Wow yeah, I just check and about 30% of people who wake up from having chest compressions will have broken or fractured ribs. That's really surprising!
Sounds awful, for both of you really; I'm sure now with time and wisdom you understand that what she did was out of her own control, and simply her bodies own survival instincts taking over. It's a well known phenomenon.
Oh yeah, I knew that at the time. I always wondered why parents threw parties like that for kids without monitoring them more heavily, and why she didn’t have those blow up devices on her arms to keep her safe in the event that she did fall in.
Well i hit my head bc of the patchy stones near a waterfall
Can't say I understood much of the terminology but sentiment was surely there XD.
I touched the void.
Was that at the beach by any chance? Got caught in a tidal rip once, but escaped somehow. Had to go with the flow...
yes, but, not by a tidal rip. and pool. glad glad you surrived
oh, yeh...almost got hit by vehicles and chased by animals, etc
Oh yeah I heard that's the best thing to do if you get caught in a riptide, quite literally go with the flow until it brings you back up. Scary stuff though.
Not bad... Not bad.
Yes I agree, once your breathing is affected time is abruptly not on your side. Take care..
I think choking on cherries might actually be a common occurrence. Ever watch The Fifth Element?
No, I haven’t
The antagonist nearly choked to death on a cherry.
I'm so sorry, that's somehow kind of funny but also really scary. How'd a cherry piece get up you nose?
@zollo I was eating some cherries and I was laughing at something and it went up the wrong hole. And Yeah when It happened I was cry and laughing at the same time.
Roflmao!🤪🤣That's not even possible, sure ghosts can be captured on camera and all that. But ghosts cannot use a phone or a computer what they can do though is mess with the electricity and take It's energy for itself.😈🧐
Never watched Ghost in the Machine?
I don't believe that. I can see right through you!
@Red_Arrow That's just more proof I'm telling the truth.
so you caught that. lol
Wake Island was it?
Nope, was about 100 miles West of San Diego.
Shit. be careful man, If your gonna drink do it at home and not around any bodies of water, or fire, or electricity... or better yet just don't get drunk enough to do stupid shit XD
Well, I guess you're a survivor non-the-less. Life is strange.
Thanks for sharing.
