Wow. Remind me never to play scrabble wit you, girl. For everyone else who's ignorant like me...www.google.com/search
@AmandaYVR I should have shared a picture! Also, I’m terrible at Scrabble. I have a decent vocabulary but all of the tiles and too many options sends my stress level up.
lolol. That made me chuckle. My husband doesn't want to play scrabble with me. He thinks it's boring. So the last person I really played with was my dad when I was a teenager around 14+. And you know what I did? I hated when the board got all locked up and the options to lay tiles were limited. I would count the score I would possibly get, but the word would not be good for the game board overall, too squishy, so I would place words that gave more options, and spread out the board more. Like a proper octopus, you know.I would doublecheck a lot of words in the dictionary, and take my time researching this, and my dad never said a word, but to this day I always wonder if he thought that was cheating, or not playing right. (He was never a stickler. He just liked games.) I don't remember if I explained what I was doing. I probably would have, but not to this degree. He would get bored eventually. "I'm goona go have a smoke. Brb." but it was clear he never cared about completing things. It was fun, and then it wasn't for him, cause he's not a completionist like me so much. (I'm not hardcore on that, but I'm more than he is, I think.) It was sort of based on the total amount of time we did something. (A sound method. Just not my priority.)We kept score when we played games but neither were at all competitive, and that's the way I like to live. I'm not competitive at all like that. But some people may not like how I play games because I want the best outcome. Not to win with a lesser final product. lol. I haven't changed I guess.
