Which type of girl makes a better girlfriend? Tomboys, or Preps?

Me and my friend were talking about friends, and this somehow got into what kind of girls we like. And we both need girlfriends lol, so yeah. He said he loves the preps because they wear makeup, and wear tight cloths.

I love tomboys. They are so much more fun! You can go play a sport with them, they don't care if they get muddy. They can run in the rain and don't care if they get wet, and all this without worrying about breaking a nail! I also like how you can talk about anything with them, and they won't be grossed out. You know guy talk.

But I also like that the girl can still be a girl. You know dress up, put SOME makeup on, but not spend 2 hours doing it like a prep would.

But I always see these kind of girls put into the friend zone. But I see them as a friend, and sometimes more. I like how they can have fun, but still dress up like a girl when appropriate.

So what do you guys/gals think? which type of girl would make a better girlfriend?

I'm not one for high maintenance, or spending hours on makeup. Be happy with how you look, you don't need to put on a mask.
