He seems bothered if we don't communicate and says it seems like if he doesn't initiate we wouldn't talk. He will tell me his schedule and says he wants to hear from me so I can call and text him. He knows I'm married and I am not going to cheat on my husband. So, does he have feelings? What does he want? I've asked him he said he has asked me for nothing. But he will call me to talk to me. If I don't message him to say hi, he will pass by and message me. " lovely smile, as always" or hi, when we do talk he we talk about work, family, plans, random stuff, he will flirt a little here and there. I have told him before I had a harmless crush.

Hi I have been friends with this guy at for a few years. We have hanged our a few times and it seemed like there was more to our friendship. However when I asked him what Wa going on ( as in between us) he responded:

Sorry for late response. Recently I’ve been getting the feeling that you want our relationship to be more than ‘just friends’. I do think that you’re an awesome person and I genuinely respect you. However, I don’t want/I’m not ready for a relationship now and I’m very sorry if I have been giving you the wrong impression or mixed signal. I hope this will not affect our friendship as I do enjoy your company. I hope my stance is clear and sorry if I have made it seem like I want to take it to the next level.

So we then agreed we were just friends and it was just harmless flirting nothing to it.

However a few days ago he sent this text:

Hey how is your break going. I reckon we should do it!
When I responded do what he replied never mind.

I feel like since we have both agreed that we are just friends no one should be asking or doing things to make the other feel uncomfortable. From my perspective he wants me to treat him like a boyfriend but without making the commitment and I'm not willing/ Dont want to do that. It's at a point where I'm just getting annoyed with him. Should I end this friendship?

By that I mean flirt around with different people or the same person without it leading to dating/relationship?

Was talking about it with afew friends and some of them said they do because its harmless fun. Others say they dont because its what a player would do; leading them on and wasting their time. I personally think its okay so long as both individuals know its going to lead to nothing.

Do you think its harmless to flirt around with people?
