I then tried to change the subject as I got embarrassed so I said that I am going to Portugal for the first week of October and he told me that his wife is away for the three weeks he is working. When we were in his car outside my house and my mother was talking to us, she was walking back towards the house when I watched him about to turn towards my mother but I put my hand on his arm and I started rubbing his arm. I then leaned backwards in my seat and he then turned to me, I smiled at him and he smiled at me. We looked into each other's eyes.
