I’ve been talking with this guy for two weeks now. He wants to meet but due to me having a protective father, I’m waiting to see if he’s worth meeting my dad or not. He seems to respect my decisions but I can tell he wants to meet so badly. He’s told quite a few people about me. He told his grandma and showed her a picture of me earlier! Besides him being sweet, he’s been calling me “baby” and “princess” like it’s my name. He calls me beautiful and compliments me constantly as well. I haven’t reciprocated any pet names back except “sweetheart”. I call lots of people that though. I am not used to guys acting like that with me. So I want to say that he’s saying it genuinely... People and looks can be deceiving though.

I’ve been thinking about it and is it off putting for him to say pet names and compliment me so much this early on?

My boyfriend is having to go out of town to have his car fixed about an hour away. The guy he is meeting offered to have his dad fly my boyfriend home in his plane if the weather is okay. Now, we are still in the middle of a pandemic and frankly, I’m worried about that and the guy being a stranger. My boyfriend doesn’t know either of them personally. He says they seem like nice people, but I told him that you never know about people and he also wouldn’t know if the person has covid or not and would be stuck in a confined space with him. Smaller aircraft are also more dangerous than commercial flights. I can tell my boyfriend is excited by the idea and wants to go, but I think he’s letting it cloud his judgement. I expressed my concerns to him, as I don’t want anything to happen to him, and that I honestly wouldn’t trust it. Now he is angry at me, is very much expressing it and I feel stupid for showing my concerns. Am I being reasonable in thinking it’s too risky or am I overreacting? Thoughts?
