This older person sent me a message saying on Girlsaskguys that he was offended by my answer (I don't even remember what I said). I tried to send him a polite reply, but he blocked me. The message said:

"Some girls like older men, whether it be for their money, maturity, or worldliness. How is a guy to know, if he doesn't approach you and say "Hi".

I'm currently getting to know a 25 year old, we aren't dating yet, but we seem to like each other a lot. Who knows.

Anyway, don't snub anybody who approaches you politely. I hate the word "creepy", I think it is used as a veil for ageism. If a fellow approaches you politely and respectfully, respond in kind.

Of course I'm going to gently reject with respect if I was hit on and take it as a compliment. I never meant my answer to be offensive. But I don't think it has anything to do with being a lady. But old guy (going bald, beer belly, hairy, has to take viagra to get it up... EEWWWWW) hitting on me is always going to be "creepy" to me. I'm not going to date an old man just as I'm not going to date a smoker. I would think "most" of young ladies would agree. No?
