Search Results: standing out in the crowd

Over the past few meetings of a club I just joined, I got a feeling that this one guy and I "clicked." We'd talk to each other more often/differently than the other members, look to each other in a crowd, head toward each other in group settings, he sat by me at one point and touched my arm while talking. At a recent party, we didn't interact at first, except he walked by and kept saying how my dress worked perfectly for the theme. As I was talking to different people, I noticed he was talking in a group close to me and was always facing me. He later wandered to where I was standing watching people play a game and just stood next to me silently. He'd awkwardly look around, at one point left, and then he came back just standing there (he's always social, so I found it odd he wasn't talking to anyone). I finally turned and asked him a question and he answered very abruptly. But shortly after we talked more, and as he got drunker, he talked more. He would lean in right against me to talk everytime. At one point he left to find his friend to play in the next round of the game, and when he came back he grazed my back with his hand. Then when he was playing he would look over at me. He just kept getting friendlier as the night progressed, and as I wasn't drinking, he got me a drink and really wanted me to try it (I didn't though). He also said things like "Oh God please don't judge me for this haha," "I knew you'd be perfect for this club!" and, "You don't even have to drink to be funny and cool!"

It basically seemed like he and I had a vibe going during club meetings, at the party he kept positioning himself near me and only talked to me after he was drunk, and then he got pretty friendly (didn't really get friendly with other girls I don't think). But do guys' drunk actions actually mean anything? Guys, do you get more honest and uninhibited when you're drunk, or was he just smashed and felt like talking?
