So my girlfriend is rather touchy feely with her best friends, and doesn't mind this kind of stuff at all. She often shoves herself right next to her best friends, as she shows them something funny on her phone.

When her legs touched her friend's legs in jeans, neither my girlfriend, nor her friends even budged.

If it was me and my male friends, in jeans I wouldn't mind, but in shorts and swimsuits I definitely would! Bare skin touching just feels way too personal if you ask me! Not cool! :(

When I brought this up to my girlfriend, she says they're her best friends, and that it really doesn't matter. She also says that it's just skin, that everyone has it, and that there's no shame if her skin touches her friend's skin, especially in hot weather where everyone's wearing shorts anyways. She said that if anything it'd be rude if she DID move away.

I personally disagree with her, but to each their own, I guess.

Okay so some if not most of my friends that are girls dont ever act like themselves around me. With their other female friends she's all touchy feely and talks about her emotions with them but she doesn't do that with me, is it because I'm a guy or something? If being gay was a choice I'd turn just so I could be there for my female friends when they are having guy problems and being emotional, I want my friends to know I won't take it as flirting if they do the things they do around their other friends. Stuff like this makes me wish I was a girl (Though I wouldn't be able to last with periods and birth control and guys hitting on me along with the big boobs = Back problems thing)

Do they not act themselves around me because I'm a guy or because of something else?

So I can't help it, but I end up comparing myself with and competing with everyone I know... from friends, to family members, to co-workers, etc... and my girlfriend is no exception.

Me- I'm a very introverted person and rarely speak unless spoken to... and at first glance I don't seem like I have any defining traits. But if you can actually get me talking, then I become what people call "fun." I'm very down to earth and honest, and don't sugarcoat anything I say... and my opinion on things, I always say the truth, even if it's a really unpopular opinion. But even then, I never become super crazy or funny or outgoing or whatever. On my free time I usually watch shows/movies, read, play video games, write, and draw.

My girlfriend- Contrary to myself, she's actually really outgoing and pretty good at starting up conversations with people. She's also quite bubbly and cheerful, but also is very aware of when to take things more seriously. She's touchy feely, but won't give people hugs if she knows it makes them uncomfortable. She can also be quite funny at times, but not 24/7. She's very sympathetic, and is good at connecting with people. As for her free time, she also watches shows/movies, but she's a lot more athletic than me and loves to do things like play soccer, volleyball, basketball, track & field/cross-country, and swimming. She's fit and healthy with a flat-stomach, and pretty strong, but not super duper muscular or anything. She rarely wears make-up unless she falls and gets a bruise, but she does like to dress cute if the occasion calls for it.

Overall, I'd say if you like someone a little quieter who speaks their mind, you'd like me better. But if you like someone really affectionate who understands your feelings and who's really outgoing, you'd like my girlfriend better.

A girl from another school is very bubbly, and smiley around me but I think she is like that around everybody she is touchy and feely with other guys she knows well. She does Pay me compliments more than other people from what I observe and I am the only guy she pays compliments to. Walked past me said "Hi John" with a smirk but couldn't make eye contact. Lastly, kept on looking behind 2 times to look at me then once I caught her and we made eye contact for a second she stopped. In a way tried to find ways to talk to me by listening into my conversations and responding to what I say as if directed towards her and she smiles. When other people talked to me she listened and responded to me. She noticed when I glasses and told me she didn't know I wear glasses. I gave the heart symbol with my hands and she did it back and smirked. I am not sure if this is personality but I have a gut feeling. I sent her a friend request on Facebook. Accepted it half an hour later, liked a picture I shared of my parents (mom is a widow) then unliked the picture. Thanks in advance. Part of me thinks she doesn't I don't see her much. Not sure if it is just personality.
