Search Results: wrong to be protective

Okay so I've been snapchatting a friend of mine who I've known for years, but I've always seen our relationship as platonic and sibling like, only because he's a few years old than me. But recently he has been sending me snaps like, "brb, gotta shower" and after shower shirtless pictures, not full torso though, and a lot of photos of him working out. He also sent me a bitmoji (personalized emoji) with the caption "goodnight kisses" after I said goodnight. I'm not sure if he's just being friendly or what. I know he cares about me, he's protective of me, so now I'm confused, what do you see his intentions as being, am I reading the signs wrong?

Was over my best friend's house last night and her dad loves me to bits and it's so funny to me. He gets so happy when I come over just because her and I have been friends for years. He likes all her friends but some reason I'm the favorite. I think it creeps people out because he gives me a kiss on the cheek but it isn't weird to me because that's just his personality and it really isn't strange. My friend mentioned how her and I hadn't been getting along recently and her dad told her she needed to straighten it out because she is my best friend and he was not letting her lose somebody she's that close with, which is nice because I always feel like parents don't like me. He has two daughters and he's a very protective person to them and their friends, if anything goes wrong he makes it very clear that he wants us to call him and he will take care of it. I'm kind of like a third daughter to him so it's awesome. Her mom also loves me a lot. She always mentions me when she gets a chance. It's just nice to feel well liked especially them being my best friend's parents. Anyone else have this?
