I brought my girlfriend to a tournament I was having and introduced her to one of my friends. They seemed happy to meet each other, but my friend seemed a little bit too happy if you know what I mean.

so they started talking and I later found out that they exchanged numbers while I was competing. They talk on the phone and text now.

He's been trying to set up a time for them to hang out and I think the only reason she didn't say yes was because I probably wouldn't like it (I didn't admit it but I would hate that)

I did tell my girlfriend that I was a bit jealous and didn't like the way he looked at her hungrily. She said I was overreacting and she probably would never see him again anyway.

he may be coming to my home town for another tournament soon so I don't know about that

I don't want to be controlling over her and its not like I don't like the guy. He's cool and this is the first problem I've had with him. I'm just not entirely comfortable with them talking. I get that a girl likes a bit of attention so I guess its okay for her to enjoy it as long as she's not flirting back

I'm tempted to tell her I don't want her to talk to him but that's really messed up and controlling.

so here is the story I went to a new years party with a friend of mine his girlfriend was their and me and him mostly just played beer pong. I met a girl their and never got her number or anything I just thought she was cool. well a couple of days later she added me on Facebook, at first I thought okay she just recognized me and added me. well their was no mutual friends and I never gave her my last name so that means she was looking me out. but we started talking on Facebook over a few days. then we went on a date she ended up spending the night at my house. well a few days later we have another date and she decides to inform me that their is another guy in the situation someone she has "made sure knows that they aren't anything" and that I am "something new"... not sure how I feel about it. I really like what I have seen from this woman so far. not sure if I should try and compete or just drop the situation and walk away. well I'm twenty almost twenty one and she is 25. just not sure where I should head from here as far as pursue her or not. I do feel weird in the fact that she is seeing someone in addition to seeing me. so what in your opinion is the best course of action?
