Just for fun, if you could pick a generation to be born into from the currently living ones, which would you choose?

The years are not exact and opinions vary, but you should get the general idea.

A) Greatest. You know the deal, the WW2 generation. The men got drafted. Too long ago to really understand first hand what it would be like, so it's now about as distant as the 300 Spartans. Mostly it's yuppie movie makers and book writers that came after them that will claim to know them. But apart from the war, as far as I can tell, this is the Disney "right and wrong" generation, and a world's more innocent than today.

+) Silent generation were less different than the previous, but too young to go to war, and too old to be baby boomers. Best known for talking to empty chairs at political conventions in their 80s.

B) Baby Boomers. Growing up carefree and in affluence. Invention of teenager as an age group.

C) Generation-X. VHS tapes. Invention of grunge rock music and rap in the rising fad that was MTV and cable TV in general. Video games first seen, but remained a niche for lowly nerds, strictly enforced by the cool kids. First generation to see a fatal disease not ever get quarantined (AIDS). A rebellious kind of dead generation full of snarky sh*theads with no direction.

D) Millenial gen. First of these generations that was less socially rebellious in youth than the previous one. The rise of computing and the internet as a necessity. The rise of the 24 hr service model everywhere (walmarts everywhere). Need to be validated as special butterflies more since generally grew up with more attentive parents. Also the 9/11 generation, for whatever that's worth (not much).

E) Generation Z. Doesn't really have a name yet and obviously still in progress, but generally likely to grow up born into computer use, leaving toys behind in favor of video games, and the deep abyss of the threat of a Depression, the dwindling global warming denialism in the face of increasingly more difficult events to deny, cutthroat job competition on steroids, the faceoff with the cornered animal counterstrikes from all sorts of political and economic complexes (military industrial, drug war, prison complexes). Possibly the final generation, but at least they will probably see the end of school books in favor of lightweight gadgets.
