I was l out with the same friend from a couple weeks ago.

It was a instant click, we hung out all day. He bought me dinner then I took him to a chocolate lounge and he bought everything even though the bill was $40 for a bunch of dessert. By the end of the day we planned out about 6 more meet ups one on one and soon we're going to the zoo because he desperately wanted to take me. He was serious about every plan and he's extremely excited for them and wouldn't stop talking about them. He was very attentive and remembered important things I forgot hours ago. He complimented on my intelligence a lot and randomly called me a princess.

We shared appetizers and stole each others desserts. We joked around in public and stayed laughing, joking and picking at each other, but in the car our conversations were always deep and honest. We both admitted we were nervous, and he said he was nervous that he wouldn't be the same like the last time we met up and couldn't keep up with me, but then he said that I said I brought out a side in him that he wasn't used to, that he can't stop talking and is significantly more animated and happy when he's around me naturally. When we talked about relationships he and I said we weren't actively looking for any relationships and have the "if its supposed to happen it will" attitude since he's been in 2 toxic relationships and I've been in 1 toxic relationship for 4 years straight.

Now this is where the question comes in. Was this all platonic or does he want something more from me and we're just taking it slow? Its not gonna affect anything in particular because I enjoy his time either way, but everyone around me considers us dating now but neither one of us has actually said the word "date" but don't say "hangout" either. We also say friend but its more of a hesitation and we haven't done anything remotely sexual, but everything he wants to go do is us alone even though we have mutual friends that we'd known for years.
